FOLQUE "Acrobata" is a special kind bird (Sternidae) relative family to the sea gulls. This bird lives in the coast of Galicia (South west of Europe) and Bahia (north east of Brasil) and is the name also of the first CD relased by a new duet from these veteran musicians: Ugia Pedreira and Fred Martins. Galicia meets Brasil in an intimate show where just a guitar and two fellow voices build a mix repertoire with the taste of the old melodies and modern harmonies.
It is, no doubt about, the best pop example to meet two close and far musical worlds: Brazilian Popular Music (MPG) with the Galician Popular Music (MPG). http://escoita.me/acrobata/ --------------------------------- --------------------------------- WED 16 MAY 8pm £Givewhatyoucan

PATRIZIA PAOLINI & ADAM BOHMAN Patrizia Paolini is a writer, performer, cabaret artist, stand-up comedian, poet, cook, pin-up, rather silly person, female Sean Penn and experimental musician who makes shows about death, sex, scar on chins, kisses and the awkwardness of communication (well, she is Italian) If pressed to describe what she does, she may say that life is chaos, a bundle of sensations linked together by accidents of memory, and that her work is not an attempt to defy this chaos to express it.
http://www.myspace.com/patriziapaolini Adam Bohman one half of The Bohman Brothers, is known for his unique experimental sound based live performances which use found objects, text and an innumerable array of sound sources. Their humourous visual set-ups which resemble hard-wired flea markets, are the basis from which the duo, in the spirit of Fluxus, musique concrète and sound poetry, create their often grotesque soundscapes freely quoting from any source available to them. SOREN EVINSON Augmentine 825mg It's the third time since Soren is around at Trangallán showing his work. A new question has arisen through these several short residencies at Trangallán. How to go about developing work in a space that is not meant to be for rehearsal? By transforming the space of the audience, i.e. the public space, by bringing the sound perception closer, by blurring the subject of the autobiographical fact ,trying to challenge the conception of the "self" and the "other" at the time that he invites to look for the connections between contemporary democracy and pharmaceutical politics. Physical, playful, obscure, delightful and unconventionally autobiographic. Now alone, now in symbiosis with the audience. Through detached voices and lights that reveal the people behind them, we are entwined in a battlefield of intimacy and catastrophe. http://sorenevinson.posterous.com
