_It has been almost two years since four friends began to talk about opening a Gastronomic & Cultural space near their homes in Stoke Newington. 'We discovered a former social club in nearby Newington Green where locals used to meet and play cards. Disused for over a year, the building has been slowly brought back to life as we began scouring vintage markets and antique fairs for unusual furniture and decor that would tell an interesting story to our guests.' It's clear on first visit to see all the passion, thought and hard work that have gone into bringing Trangallán to life. The Tranga, as it's already nicknamed is open for a unique neighbourhood experience.
